Group IT Manager to confidential and exciting company

About the role

As Group IT Manager, you will lead the IT department, managing technology resources and aligning IT strategy with business goals. You will drive the digital transformation of the group, utilizing advanced technologies like AI and machine learning. Your responsibilities cover the IT needs of the groups subsidiaries, ensuring security, system maintenance, and governance. Based at the Gothenburg HQ, you will lead/guide/mentor a team of seven and oversee IT service delivery across the entire group (approx. 500 colleagues).

What you’ll do 

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals
• Lead and mentor the IT team
• Oversee IT infrastructure and system maintenance
• Ensure cybersecurity and data privacy compliance
• Manage IT budgets and resources efficiently
• Collaborate with departments to address technological needs
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and drive innovation
• Oversee NIS2 directive implementation for cybersecurity
• Support the global rollout of new group webpages
• Facilitate quarterly IT priorities with the IT Board
• Lead the digital transformation and AI initiatives across the group 

About you

You are a strategic IT leader with proven experience in managing IT departments and leading digital transformation projects. You have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and data privacy regulations.

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or similar experience
• Experience in IT leadership roles
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Expertise in AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity
• Experience with IT budget management
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations
• Fluent in English spoken and written
• Fluent in Swedish written and spoken
