    About the role
    As Legal Counsel, you will be a pivotal member of our Corporate Legal team, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. You will work closely with colleagues from different functions across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring company compliance in an ever-evolving regulatory landscape.  

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provide expert legal advice in corporate and commercial law, corporate governance and regulatory matters.
    • Lead and provide cross-functional support related to outsourcing (Solvency II), data protection (GDPR) and management of ICT agreements (DORA).
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in pan-European and global projects and initiatives.   
    • Draft and develop internal legal processes and frameworks to ensure company-wide compliance with corporate governance.
    • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in close collaboration with outside counsel and advise on possible risks and opportunities.
    • Provide operational support within the team.

    Who are you?
    We are looking for an experienced and collaborative legal professional with a passion for legal work in an international context. You thrive in a role that combines strategic thinking with operational responsibility. You have a positive mindset with a can-do attitude.  

    Qualifications:

    • Master of Laws (LL.M.)
    • Experience from a top-tier international law firm or as in-house counsel in a multinational setting (or ideally, a combination of the two).
    • Strong background in insurance or financial services with a proven track record of managing complex corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
    • Hands-on experience with the Insurance Distribution Directive, the Solvency II Directive, the EIOPA Guidelines, DORA etc.
    • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
    • A proactive, supportive and inclusive approach to teamwork and collaboration generally.
